The Marvelous ~*Max*~ Up-Date

Feb, 28, 2007

I just wanted to send you an update on our darling puppy Max. He was puppy #4 in Lucky and Spencer's Oct 30th 2006 litter. He is doing so well with our family and we adore him. He has been twice to the vet for all his shots and is quite healthy. He has been awfully shy with new situations but has adjusted very well to our family and home. You wouldn't think he was shy when you see him in his home here though. The girls love him. Max loves our older dog Birdie but Birdie doesnt want to have much to do with him as of yet. Max is a bit too active for her liking. But they share each other's beds and food too sometimes. Max whines for Birdie when she goes outside without him. We are still working on the house training but things are progressing well. Max will sit and lie down and stay (somewhat consistently) and seems a fast learner. He only barks at his reflection but hasnt learned to tell us when he needs to go outside. We are trying a bell on the door to see if this might work.

Thank you so much for this darling dog. As you can tell from all our pictures -- we love him so much. We also enjoy seeing the updates and pictures of his brothers and sisters on your web site. So thank you for that too.

The Irresistible ~*Izzie*~ Up-Date

Good Afternoon Donna,

I just wanted to send you a few photo's of our little Izzie who is actually growing very quickly. She has been to the vet twice and is doing great. I can't say enough about her she is the sweetest little thing, we love her so much and she just brings us so much joy. She is doing really well with her training, only an accident here and there which has really impressed me, she sleeps in the bedroom with us in her own bed and she sleeps all the way through the night until about 6.30 -7am, so that's great. She has a little buddy Abby who is a bichon poo, it's very funny watching the 2 of them together, although Izzie is the smallest, you would never know it Izzie runs around making poor Abby dizzy.

Thanks again Donna and family,

Louise and Mark and of course Izzie

Up-Date on the adorable ~*Ducan*~

Hi Donna
We thought you would like an update on Duncan.
He is doing great, and we all love him. Nora and I brought him to the vet this afternoon, and he did great there as well. He weighs 6.5 pounds, and we found out that his half-brother, Snoopy, from Lucky and Spencer's Oct. 30th litter, also lives here in town. We will have to get them together for a playdate soon! We'll send another picture soon, Take care and thanks for breeding such lovable dogs!

An Up-Date about the fantastic ~*Phil*~

Hi Donna:
I just wanted to give you an update on Phil (puppy 7 from the 10/30 litter). He's up to almost 9 pounds and running the house as expected. He's discovered the many joys of New England, including subzero temperatures, snow and wind, as well as acorns, the school bus and the big golden retriever next door. We couldn't be happier with him; he's a pure joy. He fetches the ball/chew toy, answers to his name (about half the time) and is learning to ride in mom's Explorer. By the time baseball season starts he be ready to serve as our son's team mascot. We hope things are good with you and yours. You picked the warmest weekend in a while to come north-since you left it's been brutal.
Be Well.

Snuggly ~*Samson*~ Up-Date

Hi Donna!!

We made it through our first day and night with Sampson or “Sam.” He has taken to his name already! A long day of training in and out of the crate, but he slept pretty well last night. Down around 9:30 – up to “go potty” at 1am and then up for the day at 5:15 or so… NOT BAD!

As you can see – my son is spoiling him already. They quickly bonded (“…my brother from another mother..” is what Nicholas is saying) and are going to be the best of friends. You husband was very sweet and helpful (we got a little lost).

Thanks – He’s the best addition to our family! We LOVE him!!

Tara

Sweet Heart ~*Sully Harrison*~ Up-Date

Hi Donna,

Just another quick update after having Sully for a few days. He is doing so well. Everyone thinks he is just adorable. He is adapting very well to the crate...he whines a bit when he goes in, but then he'll happily snooze away.

He didn't want to eat much at first but his appetite has really kicked in. He has also started to play with our other two dogs. He and his friend Teddy like to play tug of war with their stuffed bunny. He has had very few accidents in the house. I know we have a ways to go, but Sully has had a great start!

We went to the vet on Monday and he checked out just fine. He had a booster shot and he didn't even flinch! He's already started on Heartgard and Frontline, and he gets his rabies shot in 2 weeks. We start puppy kindergarten class on Monday, and I am sure he will be the class star...he is such a friendly, sweet little boy.

How are all of his siblings adjusting to their new homes? I am eager to see updates! I attached a couple pictures of him in his new home. I will see if I can get one of us together for the adoption picture if I can get him to sit still long enough!

I hope Tom and Kelly made it home safely.

All the best,
Jill Harrison

The terrific ~*Tiki*~ Up-Date

Hi Donna,

We just wanted to give you an update on Tiki. He is doing so well. He is sleeping through the night in his crate, he knows his name and he usually comes when he is called. The kids keep saying how smart he is, which I agree. He hasn’t had an accident in the house in 3 days. I got him a little fleece jacket to wear outside because it has gotten really cold. I’m sending you some pictures. Chomper and Tiki are getting close already. I know I made the right decision with him, he is a wonderful, intelligent puppy. My husband is crazy about him too. Could you give me Tike’s birth date please, we do doggie birthday parties too. Thank you for letting us have Tiki, he has brought a lot of joy to us already.

Thank you,
Deborah Isidro

Cute as a Button ~*Skipper*~ Up-Date

Donna,
Just wanted to let you know things are going great! Skipper is a great dog! We all just love him. He has grown to be 30lbs. and he is not over weight. Can you believe it? The vet said he is very healthy, he also said, he is the biggest schnoodle he has ever seen. Skipper is very active, so I have to keep him busy. We walk 4 to 6 miles a day depending on the weather. He enjoys to ride in the car with me when I do my errands. The bank tellers love him. They say hes the cutest dog. He always end up with a treat. He is very spoiled.
Hope you and your family had a nice Christmas. Thanks again for the best dog!

The Handsome ~*Bandit Grew*~ Up-Date

Hi Donna,
Sorry for taking so long to get back with you. Bandit is doing great! The kids decided they wanted to change his name. We have been to the Vet twice now and he is very healthy and up to date on shots. The training is going very well - rarely an accident anymore. He just sits at the back door when he needs to go out. He has always done well at night from the first night on. He gladly goes in his crate at night after a long day playing with Mom and the kids. We have just let him start playing with the neighbors dog (Rat Terrier) which wears him out! We are working on the come command rewarding him with treats - tougher now with his new playmate...
He's happy, healthy and loved. Last night my daughter slept with him by the fire after watching the movie Chestnut (orphan puppy story).
Mom is most protective of him since she spends the entire day with him - the have become real close...her family can't believe it!
Thanks for everything,
Chris Grew

I'll send pictures next camera upload.

The Sensational ~*Sully*~ Up-Date

Hi Donna,
I was going through some of our recent photos and found 2 cute ones of Sully. The first one, we call "Have quilt, will sleep!" He is so funny when it comes to lying down. He only gets sleepy when he is laying on a quilt. He has claimed Matty's blue baby quilt as his own. At night, he still loves to sleep under the covers. He will walk up our bed, nudge me in the face so I can lift the covers up for him then under he goes! He must have been a cave dweller in a previous life....hahahah. The other picture is of Sully with his flashlight. He loves to attack flashlights and chase the light. One time, the sun was coming through my bedroom window and my wedding ring was reflecting the light on the walls and floor.....Sully went nuts! He was barking at the little lights and chasing them all over the place. He really is hysterical.

He's also very protective. We live in a normal ranch. Well one time we had some company over and someone had to use the bathroom. Well they went past the kitchen and headed down the hall to the bathroom where our bedrooms are also and he went nuts. He barked at them because in his mind, he knew that that end of the house was our bedroom end and he was protecting the house. It was pretty funny.

My mom just adores him. He listens to everything she says and does everything she tells him. He really is smart.

Hope you are having a good winter and congratulations on your latest litter.
