"Love is a Wonderful Thing"

A few days ago we received an up-date
& some pictures of "Murray".
This one is a great shot of "Murray" and his family, He sure is one loved little man!
"Murray" is Sophie puppy from her 1st. litter.

*****************************************************************
Hi, Donna. How are you? Andrew has still been checking the website twice a day since we got Murray. He is counting down the days until we can adopt another bundle of love. (I keep reminding him we need to count down to the wedding first - which is 4 months away!!) I thought I would send you some pictures of Murray for your blog. That is a great thing! Murray has been very busy this summer. He's gone to Coney Island in Brooklyn and to the Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park. He loves being outdoors and if he can get close to water he is thrilled. He loves swimming. It is amazing how every month he just gets cuter and smarter. Everyone loves him and the people who run the day care we send him to while we are at work say that he is the most social animal there - he gets along with everyone!! We are getting married on New Years Eve and then after we come back from our honeymoon we will be ready to bring Murray a little brother or sister. I know our vet told us we should try and introduce a new puppy while Murray is still young. We really look forward to going through the whole process again. All the best to you and your family, Michelle, Andrew & Murray (Schoudler)

Hi Donna, here is a picture of Sandy with the newest member of our family, Ryan Scott (my daughter just had a baby!) Sandy is wonderful with him
as she is with everyone. She is so sweet and cuddly and has been enjoying her summer immensely - she loves digging holes in our backyard - she gets almost her whole head in the ground! Thanks again for choosing her for us - what a perfect fit!

She is doing very well on potty training, she does have accidents occasionaly, but overall, she is doing great for being 5 mths old. We are taking her to basic puppy classes next month. Here is "Margot" the Magnificent!

Here is the latest up-date & pictures that Julie sent me of her sweatheart "Margot".
"Margot" is a Sophie puppy from her first litter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Donna,
Many thanks for Margot's birthday wishes, and I apologize for taking so long to reply. I am attaching a photo of Margot taken on her birthday, sitting on the sofa that she has partially chewed up! She had a lovely birthday with lots of treats and a special trip to PetCo so she could choose her own toy.
She is doing very well and now weighs 12lb. She's got a lot of energy and rushes around with her toys or Gemma, the Springer Spaniel that belongs to my son and lives here. In fact the two of them are inseparable and play games all the time. Margot is very motherly towards Gemma (who is much bigger and weighs about 36lb I think), and she is always washing her face and her feet for her! She is still a little shy around people, but we are working on that. We all love her dearly and cannot imagine life without her - she has found her way into our hearts.
My best to you and your family,
Julie
A Beautiful Sketch of Sammy Willcox
Here is a sketch & up-date of "Sammy" that the Willcoxes sent me - It is just beautiful!
Dear Donna,
The attached proves two things: one, we have way too much time on our hands to organize something like this, and two, we love our schnoodle.
We continue to laugh, love and marvel at Sammy's enthusiasm, smarts and sense of fun. She visited again with her half brother, Sam Kirkpatrick, and it's amazing to see two dogs running (did I say running, I meant tearing) around the yard. It was pouring rain, and although the human timing was not the best, the dogs did not seem to notice.
The attached graphite sketch is done by a women in Barto, PA (
www.skmerkel.com), and she came to the house to take photos of Sammy, and then forwarded us the picture. I'm going to frame it as a surprise for my husband for father's day!
Keep up the good work...your dogs produce great pups!
more soon from the Willcoxes Courtenay
Shelby Doyle Up-date
Here is an up-date and pictures sent in by Stephaine & Steve informing us on how their little love muffin girl "Shelby" is doing (Shelby is a Gidget pup).
Hi Donna!!
I was so excited to see Bridget on the "latest news" section of your Web site. I held Shelby up to the screen and said, "Look, one of your sisters!!!!" Shelby is also 7 months going on 8 and spayed and SO GREAT!! Here are some photos. The one with the TV is typical, she would watch the tv for hours if we let her (it started with basketball, watching the ball go back and forth, but now she'll watch anything on the big screen - this one was the show Amazing Race!) She can sit, shake and rollover and knows "down" and only barks at one thing, when my husband chases her around the dining room table or when they "dance" together. Everyone says they want a schnoodle when they see her (duh!). The photo of her lying down is how she gets around 6:00 every day, especially if she's played hard - she goes to the back door and waits for Steve to get home. And boy can she run! She has a set of legs on her and she can really take off. Thanks so much for everything, she really is such a blessing to our home!!! Steve & Stephanie & Shelby
