Buddy Up-date & Picture

This is a picture & up-date sent by the Hain family about their little man "Buddy".
"Buddy" is a pup from Abigail's 1st. litter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Donna, Buddy is doing great! He's just shy of 20 pounds,and has lots of thick, curly hair. We brought him to the groomer earlier in the summer for a trim, to help him with the heat, and he's going to go again soon. He looks like a different dog when he comes back. He has a great disposition. He's very well behaved, and always willing to play. One of his favorite games is to be chased outside when he's got an old soccer ball. He loves to run, and knows just when to speed up when we almost catch him. We were also fortunate that Victoria had no allergic reactions to him, even when it's toughest for her in the spring. Things have worked out great with him. Roger
Chipper the Birthday Boy & Up-date
Hello Donna,
We were just thinking of you guys and I check the web site weekly. But I did not want to bother you all the time because I know you stay busy with the dogs, pups, kids and life. Yes, it has been hot here but you're right, it is better than the destruction of hurricanes. Chipper is doing fantastic!!!! He is a real joy to our family. He is trained to sleep in the crate so we have been able to take him everywhere we go. He loves to travel and does well. My son, Cameron (the trainer we now call him) has taught Chipper to walk beside on a leash, to stay, sit, paw, sit pretty, lay, turn around, and speak. Chipper loves us all so much but I have to say I'm his favorite because I am with him the most. He is everything we asked for and more. He cuddles with us especially when he is tired, and he runs and plays with the kids outside, in the pool at the ball fields too. He is still getting used to strangers. He is protective at times but not mean or vicious. He will be a year old in a few weeks and I assume this is as big as he will grow. He is smaller than we thought a male might be but it is a good thing. He is extremely healthy and still gets groomed about every 5-6 weeks and he enjoys this "social" time. He has fit really well into our lives and we thank you again for all you've done. If you need any references, let me know. I hope all is well with your family. It is good to hear from you and I will keep in touch soon. MElanie
KC the Birthday Girl & a few past Up-dates
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Donna!

We hope you, your family and all the dogs and puppies at Town & Country Schnoodles are wonderful!

We are doing good and KC is such a marvelous, wonderful addition to our family – we just love her so much! She’s just passed her 8 month birthday and is 11.8 pounds.

Anyways, we wanted to share something with you. After her initial first month or so, KC developed those dark stains that (we were told) come from the Poodle Line. We have this wonderful cute dog bakery that recommended another food, Solid Gold. She told us that many dogs are allergic to corn and that’s what usually causes the eye stains and sometimes makes the dogs bite their feet. Evidently, most dog food has corn as the first ingredient in its packaging and this dog food doesn’t have corn at all. Their website is:
http://www.solidgoldhealth.com/

Well, after 4 months (just like the package says) the stains are almost gone! She’s so good, Donna – we love her so much!

We wanted to share this with you in case you get any other families that ask about this. Take care and thank you so much!!!

Hi Donna,

Yes, the food is doing really good for her and we would highly suggest it to others. We were giving her some high quality bones and then in a crunch bought some cheap ones, and some of her redness on one her eyes came back a little bit, but its going away now, too.

Here’s a couple more photos. We absolutely love her, Donna – we just say out loud to other “ she is so cute!”. She’s stayed at 11 pounds and 3 ounces, her birthday is next month.

Take care and thanks for touching base!

Laurel
