Hi Donna -
We hope you and the family had a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year! Our apologies for not writing in awhile but thought you would like to see how Ivory and Spencer's #2 pup from their first litter is doing!

As I'm sure you are aware, his 2nd birthday is coming up on March 20 and as you can see he remains very much our adoring and loving 3rd child!

This past summer we put in a fence around our backyard to give Flynty the opportunity to run around without getting into too much trouble but the smart little man he is somehow finds the right spot to get out!

This winter has been quite snowy for us and he still enjoys getting out there and rolling around in the snow and was our mascot for another Spring and Fall soccer season where he went to every game!

Looking forward to seeing the new litters!

Hi Donna!
How are you down there! We are in the middle of yet another snow storm! I don't think my kids have had a full 5-day school week for about 6 weeks now! I'm getting tired of all the snow and desperately need some heat!!!

On a good note--both Spanky and Roxy absolutely LOVE the snow (well...Roxy loves it more than Spanky!) She can go out and pee and poop ANYWHERE!!! Spanky requires a Newsweek and 30 minute walk! It's not much better in the summer! He always (from the time he was a small pup) needed a very long walk to find his good "spot"! The snow makes it worse, but we always seem to figure it out! Once they've done their "business", they can run around in the snow forever digging and chasing each other! They are TOO, TOO cute!!!

Just an FYI to you--Roxy was spayed on January 15, 2009 at 23 weeks old! She did so great, I cannot even tell you!!! My vet operates at a local hospital (as opposed to his own office) and the hospital requires that the animal stay overnite! We had to do the same thing with Spanky! We missed her like crazy and when I picked her up the following day, I had to text Jeff and both kids immediately that I had her and that she was fine!!! She never, ever once tried to lick or scratch her stitches! We carried her around for almost a week! She got so used to that, that now she doesn't want to jump off the bed or couch! She stands there and wags her tail...then if no one sees her wagging, she starts to bark till she is lifted off! Very spoiled, I think!!!

Her stitches came out this past Monday (10 days later) and she was fantastic for stitch removal! I held her up and the vet went in and snipped the 4 stitches! It took about 20 seconds!

If you can give me your fax number, I would be happy to fax to you the receipt from the veterinary hospital of successful spaying! Now that stitches are gone, she is released to full duty! If only those 2 furry ones would get a job and contribute a little!!! They're as bad as the human kids!!! But...I couldn't live without ANY of them!!!

Adorable ~Abby~ Up-Date

Hello Donna and Crew,

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year's celebration. I pray that 2009 will bring you many good blessings. Just wanted to tell you that Abby was spayed last Monday. She had to be kept overnight and we all missed her very much. It was quite lonely in the house with her gone and the kids at school. Everything went well. She was a good girl. It took her a few days for her to start acting like her old self again. You can see her pretty pink stitches in the photo. Do you need me to send any documentation? She is now 13 lbs and about 12" tall. Every once in awhile she will chase her tail but today she must have chased it for a good 10 seconds and when she finally stopped she staggered side ways into the kitchen cabinet like she was drunk. It gave me a good chuckle. She's sooooo cute we can just eat her up. Thanks again for such a wonderful furry baby. We are looking forward to seeing the new spring pups.

Happy Holiday's ~Sadie~

Hi Donna,

Given we are coming up on our one year anniversary of having Sadie (January 5th), I thought it would be a great time to check in with an update. Sadie is doing wonderfully and we love her to death, and so does everyone else she meets. She has topped out at a whopping 10.7 lbs. Our cat still weighs more than she does.

We are expecting our first child in March and we believe Sadie is aware that something is up. Her new favorite spot is to lay on Lauren's belly, it is like she can sense something is in there. It will be fun to see how she interacts with a new baby, more importantly she will not be top dog in the house anymore. I am sure she will adjust just fine :-)

I have attached a couple of pictures. One of her lounging on Lauren's belly and the other of her showing off her Christmas hair cut.

Hi Donna.

Merry Christmas! I’m sorry it’s been so long since I sent you an update on Cooper. I was reading the blog today and it was so nice to hear about the other pups. Are Baylee and Copper brother and sister? She’s adorable!! Cooper is doing very well. As you can see from the pictures, he’s getting very big. He was 17 ½ lbs. at his four month visit. He’s had all of his shots now, and is scheduled for his surgery in early Feb. I’ll be sure to send you the documents when I have them. Cooper is a perfect fit with our family. He’s into everything and has tons of energy. He’s doing very well with the house training and listens to the “sit” command every time. I do have to add some new commands to the list. I’m just very busy trying to get my children to listen to me, LOL! The only thing we’re looking forward to is his baby teeth falling out. He chews everything in sight..including us! Once that stops he’ll have the run of the house. I just can’t say enough about how happy we are with him. I must tell him I love him 50 times a day! He’s so friendly and loves to say hello to people. We have a fenced in yard, but we walk him as often as possible b/c he loves it so much. We run him on the beach when we can. The last time we were there he followed some bigger dogs into the water. He’s always making us laugh! Thanks again for providing us with such a great puppy!

I hope this email finds you and your family well! Lucky (Deliliah 11/1/07) had a great first Christmas with us! I sent you a photo from my iphone as it was the best we have from Christmas. He is the best puppy we could have asked for! He sleeps with my husband and I every night and does wonderfully in his crate during the times we are out of the house. He has made the long trip to Kentucky with 3 times now (soon to be 4 on Sunday) and is a pro at it. My husband and I are thinking of adding to the mix in the summer. Any chance of Deliliah having any litters in the spring. Well for now Lucky is our little dream and we could not be more proud of him. Take care and we will send more updated pictures soon!

Hello to the Davis Family!

I’m so sorry to take two years to reply! We have had some major things going on in our lives and I have been terrible at communicating with everyone.
Anyway, I am attaching a very recent photo of Margot – She had just got back from a visit to the groomer (one of her favorite places) and that is why she is all dressed up with a bow and a bandana. She is such a happy dog and the light of my life. She loves my son’s dog the Springer Spaniel who lives with us, and her favorite toys are her squeaky rabbit and her ball. We have a lot of snow here at the moment and she wants to play in it so much, but after a few minutes outside she turns into a snowball and needs rescuing!

Merry Christmas from all of us up here in snowy NY. We hope you are all doing well!

I have attached pictures of the girl's first walk in the snow and their first Christmas photos.
They are not too fond of the snow , and must surely miss the sands of Florida.
Molly jumped right in , then couldn't figure out how to jump out, Sophie wanted no part of it
The plus side to the snow is that they sure hurry up and do "their businiess in this weather" ,
no strolls in the park this time of year. They have quite the winter wardrobe to keep their little
bodies warm. They just had hair cuts, which I would have put off until, warmer weather, but
here in NY that is 4 months away and they can't wait that long, so cutting their hair didn't help
but we wanted them to look like the little "classy chassies " that they are for their pics.
Maybe one day we can be "snowbirds" and they can once again play in the sand.

We thank you for the beautiful , lovable little Schnoddles you are so good at breeding.
We wish you, Tom , your children and all your 4 legged family members a wonderful Christmas
and a happy, healthy and prosperous 2009.

Every thing is going well. We have good days and not so good days with the house training. Sometimes she has more than her typical b.m's and she catches us off guard and makes a mess in the house. Oh, well we'll get there sooner or later. She had her third visit to the vet today, got her rabies shot and is now a little over 8 lbs. She knows sit and wait pretty well. How long should we continue to feed her three times a day? I'm thinking that if we feed her only two times a day she may have less frequent b.m.'s. I hope you can get your computer fixed soon. Just wanted to tell you that Abby went to the vet. yesterday and everything checked out just fine.She was a very good girl while she had her ears cleaned and some had some flea medication applied. She has been doing better than expected during the night. She has been sleeping in her crate just fine, no troubles. She went to bed last night about 9:30 and didn't wake up 'till about 5 something to go pee outside. I thought I would have to take her out more than that during the night. She is a very good girl, she only cried a little during the night. I think she was just dreaming. She doesn't like to be in her pen though. She will cry pretty good while in there if she is not tired. Thank you again for a sweet pup.The Geremia's

~Buster~ The Wonderful Dog Up-Date

Dear Donna,

I just wanted to give you a quick update on Buster. He's doing really well. He's gotten all of his shots now and I would be happy to email evidence of this to you if you require it.

He's a wonderful dog. He's very good and potty training has been going really well. I work out of my home so I'm able to get him out every two hours or so. Other times he's in the crate. Eric comes home from school at 3 and then Buster pretty much has run of the house so his crate time is very minimal. Buster is a very social dog and loves everyone he meets. He's a riot!

I've discussed neutering with the vet and he advised same at 6 months, which would be mid-January. I will set up the appointment at the end of this year and keep you posted. I will send you whatever papers the vet gives me in January.

I'll post pictures when I can. Thanks again for such a wonderful dog.

Madame ~Roxy~ Up-Date

Hi Donna!
Well...Madame Roxy is now 4 and 1/2 months old and weighs 10 lbs! She is a little pork chop! If she was any cuter, I would have to eat her up!!! I'm already sucking on her little pink, fat belly!!! She was at the vets this morning for her final (thank goodness!!!) puppy shot! She got her 2nd Lyme vaccine today and her nasal Bortadella! (Yea...we're all done for a year!) She took it like a trooper and was an angel! My vet commented on how these Schnoodles just have the best temperament (Spanky jumps into the vet's arms whenever we go...couldn't care less that he's about to get a shot!) Needless to say, the entire vet's office just loves both Spanky and Roxy!

She started going "up" the stairs about 3 weeks ago but couldn't go "down" till just this week! It's so completely cute!!! She's much slower than Spanky, but she puts her mind to it and hops down the stairs! Everyday, she discovers something new that she can do! She jumped (well, we don't actually know if she jumped or fell!!!) off my bed this week, and now jumps off all the time! She can't get up, though! She stands up on the side of the bed with her little tail wagging till I pick her up! TOOOOO cute!!!

I was wondering...do you know the weights of both Jezabelle and Zoe? Spanky is 14 and 1/2 lbs. and the vet is estimating that Roxy will be about 18 lbs! I recall that Spencer (both their fathers) is about 11 lbs. Just wondering if either dog will be similar in size to their parents!

Roxy will getting spayed on January 15! Poor puppy!!! I haven't told her yet! I know that she will be a complete trooper about it but will let you know just as soon as it's all over with and she's back home doing the "Schnoodle 500" with her big brother Spanky!

We are at the beginning of winter here in CT. We had our first snowfall about a week ago...only about 2 inches, but enough that both dogs were in their glory!!! They ran around is circles on the front lawn till they were covered in snow! I had to put both of them in the kitchen sink and pour warm water on them to get the snow balls off their legs! We did that for about 3 mornings! It eventually warmed up and we got a ton of rain the last 3 days that melted everything! We're waiting for the next blast!!!

More Wonderful Pictures Of ~Baylee~

Hi Donna and Tom,
I sent an email yesterday but I don't think it went through. If this is a repeat please ignore.

Baylee will be 4 months on Monday. I'm sending you a few pictures which will show how much she has grown. She had her second visit to the Vet yesterday for her last shot and while we were there had the Vet put in a chip. That one must have hurt because she let out a huge yelp. The Vet also pulled hair from her ears - that was hard to watch. Poor Baylee didn't like that much at all. I'm afraid Gary and I wouldn't be able to do that to Baylee and hopefully the groomer will take on that task. What do you do, leave it to the groomers or do you do it yourself? Baylee now weighs 7.5 lbs. The Vet also suggested we wait until she is six months old to have her spade. Hopefully that is okay with you and once we have her done we will send you the confirmation.

Baylee has become the star of the Rogers' household. She loves to be chased, loves to climb the furniture, chew the baseboards, run the Daytona 500 around the rooms or in the backyard around the trees, bushes and flower beds. We couldn't catch her if we tried. She is the fastest little runner we have ever seen. Baylee is almost completely potty trained but every once in awhile she will mess and she knows she has done something bad. She is very smart and knows us by name. She hears Shaylyn's alarm in the morning and runs to her door waiting to say goodmorning. She tries to hard to understand what we are saying. Gary and Shaylyn started singing to her and she sings along. Not very soothing to the ears but it is cute. She loves having her belly and ears rubbed and she hates having her feet and face wiped after she has run in the wet dirt. There is nothing better than coming home from school or work and having Baylee greet you at the door excitedly waiting to give you a hug and kiss. She is very protective and very loveable. We absolutely adore her.

The first picture is of Baylee the first week she came home. The second picture is from yesterday. The third and fourth I'm sending just cause she is so darn cute!

Thought I'd let you know Baylee is doing great. She went to the vet last week and got her 12 week shot and her rabies shot so lucky Baylee got some jewellery. At 12 weeks of age she was 4 lbs 6 oz. Today she went to Pet Grooming. Now we can see her beautiful eyes. She was nervous but the lady said she did really good. She didn't like her feet touched so we will have to work on that. She is full of energy and loves to run and be chased. Needless to say, she plays us out at the end of the day. I've attached a couple of pictures for you to see how much she has grown. Thought I'd drop you a note and give you an update on Baylee. She is getting into everything. She figured out she can jump and it will only be a matter of time before she will be able to jump up on the furniture. Now she pulls herself up by clinging to the chair. She just loves the Blue Buffalo puppy food and she has really grown. She is getting use to our routine and loves to wake Shaylyn up in the morning. I've attached a couple of pictures for you. Sorry I haven't gotten to taking the up-dated puppy pictures, It has just been crazy here!

My horse Roper was limping terrible and it was getting worse and worse : ( My heart was just broke seeing him like that, I have been trying my best to help treat the hooves the best I could - I couldn't get the vet or the furrier out to see him until today (9/11).... As you can see from the picture the poor boy is not a happy camper! He has an abscess in the front hoof & the frog in the back hoof is ripped which is very painful - These injuries are all because of all the flooding we have had. To top it all off last night at 12pm. Chance our other horse had a bout of colic so we were all up with him getting him through that..... I am happy to say so far (keeping my fingers crossed) both boys are doing well, We just have to keep an eye on Roper that he doesn't develop an infection.

Dear Donna,

One year ago this week, Tom & Kris brought Casey to me. Your car was in the shop, so you rented one so I would not be disappointed! Casey is the joy of my life. He is loved by all - humans & animals alike. Casey is healthy, happy, and loves having his nanny (Alma) here to entertain him while I am working (I work at home). You started him off in life so wonderfully, I can never thank you enough.I am attaching 3 photos. One is with his giraffe, Lily. As you can see, he likes to lie across her. He also likes to pull her head down by her ear when he is rambunctuous, sit on her back and be pulled around, and eat his larger pieces of dry food off her back legs. I bought Lily for my friend's daughter (in another picture), but had to get another for her when Casey fell in love with Lily. He loves his smaller stuffed animals - I was surprised he "took" to her. One of the photos is at his 1st birthday party in April, and he is posed with my friend's daughter in his favorite position in the other.Casey and I are working on a 1st year surprise for you, which should be coming next week.Not a day goes by that I do not think of you. I hope you and your family are well. Please write and let me know how all of you are doing....

Cute As Buttons ~Molly~ & ~Sophie~ Up-Date

Hi Donna,

How are you all doing? Bob ann I are doing great and just loving our little Sophie and Molly to pieces. They love going for rides in the car. They chill out
within seconds of pulling out of the driveway. Sophie has gotten quite tall , while Molly is the more petite of the 2. They have been to the vet a couple of times
for their routine puppy stuff and Sophie weighs in at 6 lbs 5 oz and Molly is 5 lbs. Molly has quite a bit of brown in her, like chocolate, and I just love
the color, plus she has an amazing disposition. I can really see Spencer in her and I tell her all the time she looks like her daddy. Having had a schnauzer
I can see my Sara in Sophie, they have similiar personalities. Molly lets Sophie have her way most of the time. They really have a great time together and
are always looking for each other to play with or hang out. with I know getting 2 together can be a challenge but now that we have both of them we can't
imagine one without the other. They are so close and so cute together . They truly are entertaining.

Can you tell we are just crazy about these 2 little loves that have joined us.

How are Tom and Kristopher doing ? If they have to come north with your next adoptions at least the weather will be better for them.
How are your expectant pups doing? I am always looking at your site for updates. We still haven't take the girls out too much , as the vet says after
they get all of their shots, around 16 weeks would be a safe time, So we have held back "exposing " them. but we will show them off in public a lot more
soon, so hopefully down the road a bit some future adoptions will come out of us showing off the beautiful puppies you have at Town and Country.

The vet says we can have their hair cut in a couple of weeks after their last puppy visit for their last set of shots. Their hair is getting long, but since
we still have had some chilly weather it is a good thing they still have their long ( hair) coats on.

Just a little update on Bear. He is the love of our lives! He finished his canine good citizen class and did great!! We are now doing a basic agility and obedience class and he just took right to it. He went thru the tunnel in two tries and didn't mind the tetering board at all. I am having such a good time with him and he is so good with it all. He is still a devil at home with grabbing shoes and laundry and having to chase him for it and gets a little nippy at bedtime but then settles right down and sleeps til I get up. I can't praise your breeding and starting off these pups so well enough. I hope all is well with you folks .

Hello Donna,
I want to give you an update on Miles (Delilah Pup #5 born on 4-10-07). We celebrated his birthday with a trip for icecream.

Miles is wonderful! He earned is Canine Good Citizenship in March '08. I find it very rewarding to be in training with him and he loves the agility training the most. He acts like it's recess time when that part of class begins. Racing through the tunnel is his favorite part.

Here are a few pictures of Miles. He definetely has his father's features. His hair is still very soft and his brown color remains strong.

Good Evening,
I finally had an opportunity to upload all of my photos last night and wanted to send you a picture of Lucky Bear Greenier. He was just neutered on Monday but came through like a champ. I loved when the vet said,"Make sure he doesn't jump for 2 days, at least". I thought to myself clearly you have never had a schnoodle! All Lucky does is run and jump. We have one of the tall 4 poster beds and he jumps on it and has for about 4 weeks. Even though he is only 8 pounds, he is able to jump high than most dogs twice his side. Please enjoy Lucky's close-up. He was groomed for the 1st time last week and he looks so grown up now (22 weeks)!!!

HI Donna-

Just wanted to let you know how things are going with the pups...GREAT!!! I will admit I was a little worried about Charlie because he was so hesitant, but he came around, fast! We are all very happy, and they are spoiled rotten. They know how to sit, and can walk on a leash pretty well. We are teaching them to "come" and our dog walker is teaching them "shake". They are very smart (learn so fast) and very loving. Charlie is housebroken, and we think Boozy is, but Charlie usually speaks up for the both of them. We did go with crate training, and it was easier than we thought, so we're happy, and they love their crate (mostly because they love treats!!!)
We just had our 12 week vet visit, and they are doing well. Charlie is weighing in at 6.6 lbs, and Boozy is weighing in at 6.1 lbs. Does that seem like alot? The vet didn't say anything, but considering they should only weigh 12 or 15 at their max I was concerned. We feed them twice a day, and follow the guidelines on the food package (we stuck with the same brand).
Well I have attached some recent photos of them, some of them in the snow. They are true Floridians, they like to be outside, but hesitate at first before heading out to the cold!!! Hopefully, we'll warm up soon, because we are all sick of this weather!!!! Well take care.

Hi Donna,
I hope everything is going well for you and your family. Sully is doing fantastic! He's leveled out at 21 pounds and is healthy as horse. I've attached a picture of one of his favorite "look-out" spots. Every afternoon when I am helping Matthew with his homework, Sully gets up onto the back of the couch and watches everything going on through the living room window. It never ceases to amaze us how smart he is. He knows names of family members and will do every command we give him. It's like having another child in the house. He also has no problem whatsoever telling us what he wants from going outside to getting his food to being rocked. Yes, I said rocked! We still have the glider rocker from when Matthew was a baby and he will go to my mom, swat her in the leg and have her pick him up so that he can be rocked. He prefers to be belly up!!!!! He still loves to sleep under the covers at night. We call him our little cave dweller. Even though he's the family dog, he is so attached to me. Wherever I go in the house, he follows me. When he's tired, he'll curl up in my lap and get his rest. If I lay down after Matty goes to school, he'll curl up right under my chin in a little ball. His latest bit of mayhem is kicking Steve off the bed at night while we watch t.v. If Steve gets up to get something, Sully won't let him back on the bed and will "attack" him until he thinks Steve has earned his right to get back onto the bed. It's hysterical to watch. It's like a mini schnoodle zoom on our bed. The noises that come out of him are truly funny.

Dear Donna,
I've been meaning to write for a while now, but never seem to get around to it. Our sweet bear celebrated his first birthday last week. It is hard to believe he has been with us for nearly a year. He has been such a wonderful addition to our family. He is everything we had hoped he would be and more. He has such a fun personality and is the "top dog" of the neighborhood. He loves to spend the day outside when the weather is nice then come inside to cuddle with us in the evening. He really enjoys going for trips in the car and meeting new people. He gets along great with other dogs, but really enjoys their people more. As for cats... all you have to say is "here kitty" and he'll come flying to see if it's one of his buddies. Probably the cutest thing to see is how excited he gets when his "dad" and kids come home. As soon as Bear sees or hears my husband's car come around the corner, he is at the backdoor waiting to greet him. If he doesn't get some attention the minute the door opens he howls to let you know about it. I've attached some pictures of Bear with his birthday bone and fast asleep on the stuffed poodle he got for his birthday. As you can see he has lost all of his brown spots and looks alot like his mommy Ivory-ecept for his gorgeous green eyes which are just like Spencer's.

Hi Donna,

Just had to send you a couple of pictures of the happy Fleming family. Molly and Sophie are such loves . We are so amazed at them
and how much they have changed in the one week we have had them. They are discovering their bark, and they are so much fun to watch.
The best thing we ever did was get the two of them together, because they constantly play with each other and are having the time of their life,
as are we, just watching them. They were so worth the wait!! My nieces and nephews have fallen in love with them too, and come over every chance
they get to see them.

I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful experience of adopting these two beautiful Schnoodles from you. It is evident Molly and Sophie
were given an abundance of love and care right from the start. They are happy, healthy, beautiful and fun loving little girls because of the wonderful
beginning you and you family gave them, Oh yeah! and smart , boy are they smart! It is obvious that you love what you do and care for all of your puppies
the same way you love and care for their parents.

Any family looking for a Schnoodle should look no further than you and Town and Country Schnoodles, as you are all just so wonderful

Here's a quick update on Charlie and Boozy: The ride home went well, they slept most of the way and only a little crying at first...but soon warmed up to us. Charlie was a little hesistant but came around. Once we got them home, it was like they were always here. They don't like the cold but who can blame them. Boozy is adventurous and quickly adapted to the snow and cold ground, still working on Charlie. We might need to get him some booties! We have a vet appt on Wed and will email you after that.
Today was great! Thank you so much for the toys and food and everything. Your husband and son were wonderful. They answered questions and were very informative. When I tell people the process they seem to think it sounds complicated, but in actuality it was very smooth. We are really excited and thanks again. Just left Tom and Kristopher a couple of hours ago. They are so nice and so were so helpful. Molly and Sophie -- OH MY ! What can I say! They are absoultely beautiful what loves they are! I didn't want to put them down to sleep. They are sleeping now in the cage we got for them. Molly started sleeping in the living room , putting her head on Sophie's back. I am so happy we got the two, so they can hang out together. We have taken so many pictures already. Molly is so calm and just goes with the flow, Sophie is a little more hesitatnt and has cried a little more . Molly actually hasn't cried hardly at all. They are simply beautiful and you send them to their new home so equipped. I put one of the blankets in with them that you sent home. Molly has her head on it. I will send a reference and some pics to you in a day or two so you can post it if you would like. Any family who gets a puppy from you and your family and gets to know you is truly blessed. It has been over 5 months
but they are so worth the wait!!

I did start this and then thought I would just call instead, but when I did not get you on the phone I thought I would finish this for now because I just had to tell
you thanks for the wonderful experience of adopting from your Spencer and Ivory. They do good work.

Sophie and Molly are great, oh my goodness, it is hard not to squeeze them so hard you could hurt them. I have to stop and remember they are not stuffed, they look it. They are so perfect they don't look real That saying "love you to death" I think I know >how that came about. They have so much fun together and are fun to watch. They chase after each other , Sophie does most of the chasing, I see what you mean. She has FOUND herself, especially where Molly is concerned, she chases after Molly and wants what Molly has all the time. I hope this e-mail finds you well. I just wanted to update you on Lucky, who will be 16 weeks this Thursday. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. We made our trip to Kentucky last month and he did unbelievably in the car. The only time he was awake was to eat or use the restroom. Sixteen hours in a car and absolutely perfect! He goes with me to get the kids from school everyday and LOVES all the attention. Everyone has to comment on his green eyes and brown nose. Other than an occasional accident, the potty training is going great. Thank you again for taking such good care in your breeding. He is one of the most loving, affectionate, calm (yes I said calm) puppies I have ever seen!

It’s been a while since we last updated you on our little “Sam Man.” He’s a perfect 20 pounds and the best friend we could ever have asked for. He has recently taken to being a bit of a jokester… likes to grab our shoes and/or socks and run around with them until we catch him. He doesn’t chew, just likes to be sure he is the center of attention! We recently had a decent snow storm (the 1st since he was brought home last year) and he went WILD! He loves running in the snow and sleigh riding with the kids.
My son and Sampson are truly best buddies. From the time we brought Sampson home last January, they haven’t left each others sides.
I would love to add another little one to our family… Everyone says we need a “Delilah” for our Sampson… Maybe after our oldest is off to college and the house isn’t quite as hectic.

Ok, you will have to laugh because this is in response to your email of over a year ago. Just a few words about our wonderful Samson. He will be 5 this summer. He weighs between 23-25 pounds and is about 17 inches tall at the shoulders.He is cute, funny, stubborn and the best exercise program I have ever started! We walk 3 miles each morning with the neighbor dog Buddy and then a few more times during the day. He loves to play with his ball in the back yard, but only brings it back when he feels like it. He still loves to dig, if he thinks he can catch a little critter. He doesn't like thunderstorms much and likes to let warn us when other dogs are walking past the house :) . He is very clear about when meal time is, and is good at communicating with us if he thinks we should be paying attention to him! We love him and cannot imagine what life would be like without him. I am attaching a picture.

Happy Holidays, Donna!

It has been a few years since we’ve last communicated…. Both our schnoodles are doing fantastic and we absolutely adore them (we got them in 2004 and 2005). K.C. (gray) has a super smooth coat and is very active. She loves swimming in the pool and “surfs” on the floating lounge. They have a ball that they swim, too.

However, Shelby (our darker one) is not as active as K.C. and is built stockier. She is gaining too much weight and we have been really cognificant of how much we are feeding her, but evidently it is still too much.

We have been giving them dry food in the morning at 7am, and then dry food mixed with 1 heaping spoon of wet food around 4pm. Because of K.C.’s allergy to corn, they get corn-free, natural products.

My husband thinks it might be best just to feed them 1 x per day in the afternoon. Can you please give us your thoughts on this? Now that it is colder, we are walking them (since KC will still go swimming and Shelby not).

Oops, forgot the most important fact:

The doctor said that KC is healthy at her 15 pounds, but Shelby is 15.8 lbs and needs to be 13 lbs. Do you have any idea how much calories for a 13 pound schnoodle?

We are Roger's ( Delilah #3-April 2007) family. He's doing well and is just as hyper as the rest of the family. He does however save some quiet moments for me. He sports a schauzner cut these days and it suits him. (Pictures next time). He was neutered 11/29/07. My husband, his best friend says ouch! Sammy’s Most Excellent Adventure
(told by My Person)

Thanks to some friends with a black lab named ‘Lucy’, Sammy, our 3-year-old Schnoodle, and I were introduced to Okahocking Wildlife Preserve in Willistown Township. Okahocking is a beautiful parcel of land with many trails, into the woods and out, for people, dogs and horses. Sammy loves it, and each visit found her more willing and eager to meet new friends, the two legged and four legged variety, and explore her surroundings. The terrier in her had her following her nose, sometimes oblivious to my calls.

One beautiful, sunny fall day, Sammy disappeared from view for several minutes. Finally in answer to my calls (or not), she came bounding over the grassy hill, and down to where I stood. A happier dog you’ve never seen - bright eyes, tail wagging, just ready for the next adventure. But wait, were those feathers coming out from each side of her smiling mouth? I knew that there was a caretaker’s house on the property with a chicken coop. I thought Sammy had sniffed so strenuously around the coop that she had almost inhaled the feathers. I was half right. I looked up the hill, down which Sammy had so happily bounded just minutes before, to see a man beckoning me to him. I went up to him, and he held upside down in his one hand, a chicken with a bloody gut, eyes staring into space blinking slowly (the chicken’s eyes, not the man’s).

“Did my dog do that?” He assented that she had, and went on to explain that dogs were not allowed off the leash on this side of the preserve.

I was mortified. Sammy was exhilarated. I promised Alfred, as I learned his name, when he very graciously introduced himself to me, that Sammy would never be off leash on this side of the preserve again, and I would pay for the chicken. Do you know how much a chicken-coop chicken is going for these days? I think we figured on $10-$12 per pound. I raced back to the car to get the money. On my way, I ran into another dog owner who though the whole story was rather humorous, and asked me if the plucked chicken would be ready for me when I returned? When I recounted the story to others, typically the men laughed, and the women were horrified.

I leashed Sammy, deposited the money under the caretaker’s doormat as requested, and slaked out of the preserve, expecting when we returned (if we were to return) to find a photo of Sammy in a circle with a big red line through it – NO SCHNOODLES! We’ve been back since, always now on a leash, as Sammy is way too interested in seeking out who knows what…chicken!?!. Schnoodles LOVE chicken!!!

I feel so much more comfortable walking with her on the leash, knowing that we will enter and leave together and not be separated for anymore than the 12 feet of leash webbing. Sammy is happy to be walked in the preserve, but I feel deep in my heart that the joy that she felt during her earliest free walks is gone.

Ah, but the chickens are safe!!

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a great 2008. Izzie has been a dream, we love her so much and so does everyone she's meets. We are so impressed how smart she is from potty training to little tricks we have taught her. It's chilly up here now so we have just purchased a couple of little jackets to keep her warm, although the cold weather doesn't seem to faze her at all, she is more interested in a leaf that's blowing in the wind. She is about 14-15 pounds now, but you won't think it when she comes across bigger dogs and starts barking at them, well that is until they come over then she hides behind me, quite funny to see. Well must run, but thank you again Donna for Izzie our lives would truly not be the same without her!

Flynt is now just a tad shy of 15 lbs and is filling out nicely. We look at the pictures from when he was just a couple of weeks/months old and its amazing how fast he has grown! We just completed DJ's soccer season where he was the team mascot and he's now getting ready for all the winter sports! He continues to be a wonderful part of the family and tomorrow we're going to put the tree up and the decorations so we're crossing our fingers!

The weather has turned to snow and he still isn't very happy about the cold! In about another month he will be running and jumping into the snow as if he loved it.Yesterday was Eli's 2nd birthday!!! He really is the light of my life :) It's hard to believe he's 2. We may consider adding a little brother or sister to our family sometime in the mid spring. I am so sorry it has taken us 7 months to let you know how Jesse was doing. Jesse is great and a joy to our family. She is the sweetest little thing but she does love to find mischief! Jesse now weights 18 lbs and she loves to eat! Here are some recent photos of her. As you can see, she’s a doll.

I have to apologize, I completely forgot to send you her spading information. Jesse was spayed in September and her paperwork is in the mail. Again, I apologize.

Bragging About ~Bear~ up-date

Hi Donna,
Just a little news about Bear's progress. He is doing sooo good. We just finished a refresher course in recall and he was just so great. I have had to call him away from a deer here in the backyard and a couple of loose pitbulls that came on our land and he responded so quickly! He is also going to a class called Manners for the real world and is doing great there too. He is so quick to catch on to what I am asking him to do and I am having such fun with him. The instructor was amazed at his recall at his early age . She thinks he might make a good theraphy dog so I am going to look into that next. He has grown to be about 14inches tall and is about 15.5lbs. Enough bragging, Will keep you updated on Bear. Hope all is well with you folks and the pups. Jane

Just a quick update on Sylvie. She has been doing beautifuly. Almost house broken and setteling into life as a city dog. We adore her and arejust so greatful to have such a sweet and snuggely little dog. She hasgained a few pounds although at 7 months she is still very much a runt at around 7lbs. She is blond and has crazy hair still. On a vet note. Sylvie will be neutered on the 19th of Nov. I will sendyou the parer work once it is completed. One last question. We noticed Ivorys web page is not available to click on. Is this temporary? Otilia likes to look at Sylvie's baby pictures from time to time.

Hi Donna,

Since tomorrow is Sully's first birthday, I thought I'd send a quick update. Sully and I are living in North Carolina now and he seems to be happy here--lots of squirrels to chase. He is so smart and loving. He goes to doggie day care most days while I am in classes and he is the favorite of everyone who works there. Every day when I pick him up they have some new compliment for him. Apparantly he is the most social and energetic dog there.

Here are some pictures from Sully's first vacation in South Carolina...and one from a very short haircut that he got (and hated) a couple months ago.

We just wanted to bring you up to date on Lulu (Nikita and Spencer puppy 2004). She is still the queen of the house and the neighborhood and everyone she meets just loves her personality and she certainly enjoys any and all attention. While she does enjoy napping most afternoons, her energy level is still as strong as ever. Her favorite sport is chasing her frisbee in the yard and protecting her yard from who ever decides to walk past. Lulu is a wonderful companion to everyone in our family. Attached are a few photos and as you can see, she has figured our how to drink from a water bottle.

Smarty Pants ~Pork Chop~ Up-date

Good morning. I wanted to give you an update. Pork Chop is adjusting to our house great. She went to the vet tuesday. She checked out good. She is eating and drinking great. We love her.

She has been going potty outside great. The only accident she has had inside was when Tom dropped her off. It is truely amazing. She even makes it all night and is enjoying her crate already. She wines for a few minutes but she is doing great. It only took her 2 days. She is a really smart.

She has taken over our house. She has toys everywhere. She is very happy and just wants to play all day long. She really likes playing with our cat (gizmo). The first few days they were scared of each other, but now they are best friends.

I will update you with pictures when she starts growing more. Attached is a video of pork chop, hope you enjoy it.

Hi Donna,
Just wanted to let you know that bear was neutered last week. I will send you a copy of the paperwork in the next few days. Poor pup still had one undescended testicle which had to be removed. He has really been under the weather. He is finally moving around better, but he still spends most of the day sleeping. I'm hoping he'll be back to normal soon-I miss my exercise buddy.
He truly is the sweetest doggy. Everyone at the vet's just loves him (and he them). All of our neighbors have missed seeing him out and about. He has a regular group of people and puppy friends he likes to visit with each day on our walks. I've included a few pictures. He's my only kiddo that likes to help with the laundry. I just can't imagine life without him. Thanks for everything.

Cute Pictures Of ~Casey~ & Up-Date

Dear Donna,

I have been remiss in writing for a bit...I would complain about being busy, but I know that you are busier than I am and still manage to get everything done!! How are you doing? How are Tom & the kids? How are all (gosh, so many) the furry babies doing? Needless to say, I think about you every day when I marvel at how well Casey is doing. I know that so much of his wonderful personality and behavior is attributable to you. Casey's shots are all done and he is on a heartworm med, so his nanny walks him outside on leash every day, and he likes the new side yard I made for him. She tells me he runs for shade - in that, he takes after me! Until a couple of weeks ago, his only "outings" were to the vet. I suspected he would be sociable judging by his behavior with all the personnel at the vet's office. He certainly proved he was when I took him to my grandfather's outdoor birthday party at a park! (See photo of me with Casey- he is smiling!). I am also sending a picture of Casey sleeping on his nanny when he pooped out after a hard morning of play. Well, Casey is 5 1/2 months old and weighs 14 lbs! The vet says he is not overweight, and he looks lean and trim (he goes on his doggie treadmill when it's raining outside!). I will be getting him neutered within the next couple of weeks, and I will let you know how that goes. I, of course, am a nervous Nellie. I have saved his baby teeth, and his adult teeth are beautiful and straight. Tomorrow I have some friends coming over with their children (9 & 5 y/o) - and can't wait to see how Casey is with them. This will be a good trial for the holidays, where I usually have 25 friends and family (and at least 4 children) over for formal dinners. Casey's nanny (Alma) & her husband will be here for those, just in case! Since I have a stroller for Casey (I got it so I wouldn't have to put him on the floor at the vet's office), I think Alma & I will take him shopping next week. He is great in the car, and I still can't believe thunder doesn't bother him. Is there anything about him I don't love!Since this is turning out to be a missive rather than a note, I will close. I think you may be getting a tiny surprise from Casey & me sometime soon. Stay well, get some rest, and please let me know how you are doing.

Look At Adorable ~Bear~ Up-Date

Hi Donna,

I finally got some pictures of bear onto the computer. I took him to the groomers and have some nice before and after pictures. I also have a picture of when we first got him to show how he has grown. He graduated from his first puppy class thursday and will be enrolled in manners class coming up shortly. He is quite the smart dog. Already he can sit and lay down via hand cues only. He also will touch anything you want simply by pointing or holding out your hand and saying touch. He goes up to it and touches with his nose. He is walking great on the leash. In the mornings on weekdays he also knows where my granddaughter sleeps and is for when I tell him to "Go get Sammi up" he runs straight to her door and waits to be let in. Once in he jumps onto the bed and depending on how tired he is or not will either wake her up or curl up next to her. We will keep in touch.

Best of Pals ~Rufus~ & ~Molly~ Up-Date

Hi Donna!

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods! I had sent an email ages ago but I guess it got lost during the "puppy invasion" in your home a few months ago. It must seem quiet in your home now compared to what you endured! I'm including some pics of Rufus (Rainbow 2/07) & one of Molly Muratore (Lucky 10/06). They travel with me everyday on my rounds to all of my customers homes visiting all the other dogs! They are the best of friends! You really can't see the size difference in this picture but Rufus is about 25 lbs and Molly's just over 10 lbs! He's a big boy! The other picture is of Rufus & my black lab, Lickerish. They really love each other. Rufus is so smart. He sits up and begs, waves hello & does a "high five" when asked. He also knows all of his basic commands as well. Having Rufus has been such a blessing, it has allowed my son to get closer to Lickerish as well. Alec has really been "hands on" with all of the daily care of the animals. I'm very proud of him, even though he's only 10, he's a very responsible pet owner. Rufus also plays with our cat, Flora Dora! They "box" each other! They both stand on their hind legs and "smack" one another! They also chase each other around the house! Flora actually chases Rufus! But then Rufus turns around the chases Flora! It's really funny to watch. Thank you again! Anytime you need a reference, let me know!

The A+ ~Miles~ Up-Date

Donna,

I want to let you know that Miles was neutered this past Monday, September 17, 2007. He did great. I was surprised how much in pain he seemed to be when I picked him up. But, by the next morning he was no longer moaning and was walking around. His appetite was back on Wednesday. That was the day I removed the "cone" collar. He didn't bother his incision at all. The vet said it may be 7 - 10 days for his recovery, but for him it was 3 days.

My son and I are in dog training classes with him. We are doing great. Had somewhat of a set back due to his surgery, but we'll catch up to the rest of them this week. Miles loves other dogs. In training he gets very distracted by the other dogs, but nonetheless...he's an A+ student at home with little distractions. I'm sure we can overcome this with time and practice.

Thanks again...I keep looking at the website for new schnoodles to recommend to my friends and those that I know are interested in adopting one.

Hi Donna,
Just wanted to up date you on Bear. He is fabulous!!!! I , the whole family is crazy about him. He is doing super in puppy class. One woman said she envied me with how calm and well behaved he is. He learns so quick! and seems to love to learn new things. We have two more weeks in this class and then I will sign up for the next step. My husband is so smittend by him he never wants to go anywhere that he cannot go! He is going to get a shorter haircut next week as I am having trouble gettin the mats out of his leg area. I think I was so afraid of hurting him with the dew claws that it got ahead of me cause the rest of him looks great. I was so sorry to hear of the lost of Bridget by that woman, I cried as I was reading the letter. Your answer was so right accidents happen but I feel so bad as the short time we have had Bear I would feel so lost without him. I do have pictures on Bear on my granddaughters camera and have been trying to get her to download them to you , He is so sweet! I have babbled on too long but I wanted you to know what a great breed I think you raise!

This whole digital/tech stuff is not my forte, but I think I have some new pics attached here (i hope). One is from back in July I believe and Oscar is playing with the cat toy (the blue round thing)- he is just so fluffy and cute. The next pics are within the last 2 weeks. My how he has grown. One of them is with my husband and our other dog, Rory- Trying to get two active dogs to hold still and "pose" is quite a challenge!! This is also how he looks before his "haircut", which is underway right now on the back steps!

Hi Donna and Family,

I realized that it has been awhile since I sent you some updated pictures of Lily (Jezabelle and Spencer's litter from April 2006). She is absolutely wonderful and we are all crazy about her. She is definitely the queen of the household! She is also, by far, the smartest dog I've ever had. This is sometimes good and sometimes bad (when she's obedient, it's great, when she's outsmarting me, it's not so great)! Both my parents and Sam's parents love her to bits, and she's even converted several people who had once said "I'll never get a dog" or "I'll never get another dog." I'm sending along two pictures that I took this afternoon. She's just about ready for a haircut, but her coat is still soft. This first picture is of Lily looking out her favorite window -- she's a great "neighborhood watch"! Usually she steals Sam's chair to look out this window, but sometimes she just stands up and I think that's even more cute. The second picture is of Lily with cow, one of her favorite stuffed toys (of course, she's had it for about six months, and about a minute after I took this picture, she started pulling stuffing out of his head). Thanks again for a great addition to our family!! (If I have my way, we'll be contacting you in a few months for a second one!)

The Amazing ~Flynt~ Up-Date

Hi Donna -
Hope this note finds you and the family well! Thought you'd appreciate getting an update from Ivory and Spencer's #2 puppy, our man Flynt!

He continues to be the most amazing puppy, the nicest disposition and temperament and a perfect match for our family! He recently got his rabies shot and is now able to go to some local dog parks we have in the area. At the time of the shot he weighed 9lbs 2oz and our doctor is quite happy with how everything is going!

During the month of August we took a trip to Disney and unfortunately Flynt had to stay up here in NJ. He stayed 4 nights with our good friends who also have a dog, Teddy who's 6. Flynt was able to pal around with him and though we missed him terribly enjoyed himself immensely!

Over Laboe Day, our church has a big festival with games, rides and food. Our family typically volunteers to work one night in one of the games. Well Flynt joined us for our 3.5 hour stint and was absolutely amazing. He truly is a people watcher. He just stared at all the folks who were playing the games or walking by from behind the counter. He attracted so many folks who just came up to pet him and of course ask what kind of dog he was!

As you can see, the kids started school this week which means we have to leave Flynt by himself for the morning and early afternoon. So far so good. He's pretty much housebroken and we have our neighbor come by with her daughter to walk and play with him around 11:30 in the morning. After two days it's been good so far!

By the way, whatever happened to his older brother.... Ivory #1? I regularly visit your website and haven't seen any updates.

Kissable ~Kramer~ Up-Date

Hi Donna,

Kramer is doing great!! He is such a quick learner. He is doing well with the crate and sleeping thru the night. I took him to the vet today for shots and he weighs 6.6 lbs -- he was 4.2 lbs 3 weeks ago when I took him to meet my vet.

I can't tell you how much I am enjoying his company. He is a great puppy so I know he'll be a great dog. He actually whined in the kitchen tonight and I let him out and he went potty!! I think he is getting the routine down.

I had my sister take our picture this weekend -- but I don't have a digital camera or a scanner so I'll have to mail it to you. I am computer challanged!!!

Just wanted you to know how great Kramer is -- I just love him!!

Hello from Jeanine, Jim, Christine, Timmy, and Pepper Delay! Pepper has been such a great family member to us and we've been thinking that another Schnoodle would be a welcome addition. We saw your posting that Spencer and Rainbow just had a femlae pup (Pepper was from Rainbow's first litter) and are interested in her.

I know the posting said the female would most likely be for a Florida home, but wanted to ask you what other options might be there for us. We thought another Schnoodle close to his size would be best. He's 27 lbs, but very lean and active! How big do you think this new pup would be when full grown. We're excited about getting another dog and a friend for Pepper!

It might be even better if it's his baby sister!

Awesome ~Jake~ up-date

Hi Donna!

Our little man is doing AWESOME!

We decided to name him Jake, and he has settled in beautifully. Believe it or not, but he is already over 12 pounds!!! He is just the most adorable little guy, and we couldn't be happier. I do have a bunch of pictures at home that I will send to you this weekend. If you remember, my parents (Judy and Larry Sacher) have Schmuele, who was one of the pups from Spencer and Sophie a few years ago. Rob and I brought Jake with us on the plane last month when we flew to Marco Island to visit my parents. So we have pictures of Jake and Schmuele together.... As my brother says, they are "brothers from another mother." Jake, by the way, was a champ on the airplane! We had one of the soft carriers, and he just laid in it and slept under the seat the entire time.

He is so well-behaved, and he has trained very quickly too. Our vet says he is super healthy, and he will be neutered on 9/14.

I'll send you some pictures of Jake by himself, as well as some with Schmuele this weekend.

The Outstanding ~Oscar~ Up-Date

Hi Donna,
I was just thinking of contacting you as "Oscar" just had his "big boy surgery" on Monday. He is 8lbs and 15 oz and sooooo adorable!!! He did wonderful at the vet and is being his usual loving self at home. So far he has mastered the stairs going in and out of the house, can usually get himself up on the couch and is getting very good about going to the door and asking to go out. We are getting fairly good at grooming him ourselves and he is so patient with us! He LOVES to go in the car. Our trip up from Florida was amazing. He curled up in my lap or on the floor between my feet for most of the ride. He makes friends wherever he goes. He is the most socialized pup I've ever had!!
He and Rory (our Toy Fox Terrier) became fast friends and they play really well together, and the cats are happy for that as well.
I'm at work, but this weekend I will see if I can attach some pics and send them.

Handsome Man ~Miles~ Up-Date

Dear Donna and Family,

We wanted to give you an update on Miles, (Deliliah #5). What a pleasure! He's everything like you described. He loves people, especially children, and other dogs. He's done excellent at the vet and during his first grooming. The groomer was skeptical about being able to do his body, but commented afterward how well-behaved he was.

My husband, who never had a pet while growing up, was reluctant about bringing a dog into our family, but now that has all changed. When I mentioned that you still had two puppies his first thought was adopting another. That says a lot about how Miles has changed my husband's attitude about having a pet dog. His 81 year old mother who never liked dogs actually requested to hold Miles. And of course, Miles gave her kisses...and she didn't object. She actually was excited.

My boys really love Miles and vice versa. Miles can't wait for them to get up in the morning. When he gets the chance he escapes from the kitchen and runs upstairs to their room.

Training is going well. I've read several books and had my family watch a DVD to get us all working together right away. The commands we are working on now include: Sit, Down, Up, Wait, Aqui ("here" in Spanish), Leave it, and Banos ("bathroom" in Spanish).

I've found an excellent person to watch Miles when we are away for the day or overnight. Plus, he gets to play with other dogs. We left him there for a day and he had such a good time playing that he went to bed early and slept late. That was a treat for me too!

I've recommended you and passed your web-site onto others as they inquire about schnoodles. You and your family do a wonderful job breeding these dogs! Miles is proof of this.

Sorry about not getting you photos sooner. We were on vacation. I found a fantastic place to take care of Miles. A women cares for dogs in her home. She offers day care as well as overnight. Miles did fantastic. Being crate trained is the best. He loved being with other dogs. She thought he might be mad at us after leaving him, but I only noticed that he was a little calmer. He wasn't crashing the cardboard barrier trying to gain access to the family room.
He continues to be fantastic with people. And he listens extremely well for treats. I'm considering getting more training in order to teach him the more difficult things. Any tips on training Miles not to enter one of our rooms? It has leather sofas and an area rug, which unfortunately he has peed on when he snuck into the room through the cardboard barrier. My vision is for him to stay on the tile floor and not enter that room.
I recommended you to someone I met at the football field. She contacted you, but since you weren't bringing puppies up North at this time she had to look elsewhere. I saw her last week and she said they had just gotten a schnoodle. I'm anxious to see it.
The pictures include some taken a week after Miles was with us (with his long hair). Then I took some in July a month later with his haircut. And lastly, his tired mid day look that I took today.

Marvelous ~Muffin~ Up-date

Muffin is doing super. She loves carrots and has one everyday. Muffin and Jasmine (cat) are buddies. They chase each other, wrestle each other and sometimes sleep near each other. Muffin has discovered that the Flowmate pet waterer has a current. She has been trying to catch it! Of course, the floor becomes very wet. She loves to romp outside and tries to catch the lighting bugs. Everything is a new adventure to her. She is very smart and picks up on commands, etc very rapidly.

She is very spontaneous when she greets people. She just loves everyone. She is precious and such a gift in my life.

Muffin started puppy obedience class this week. She was the best behaved puppy there. I kept patting and reassuring her and she just sat taking in all the activity. Granted all the other dogs were BIG. Actually she was the smallest one there. If I had known that ahead of time, I would have waited for another class.

PS. She has had 2 time outs in the bathroom when she would not settle down (this is her Wild Child). Only a few minutes of quiet time and she is calm.

As for pictures, this is a real challenge. It is hard to find the right light and background. I'm getting better and will send you one when my son downloads them for me.

She has been to the vets 3 times for shots. She is very good for the vet.

She does sleep in a cage at night. Muffin will rearrange all her blankets, mats etc the next morning. She carries them to the hallway between the kitchen and sunroom. It's her nest. At night we sit down together. She falls asleep on or beside me. AFter about an hour, I carry her to bed.

The Wonderful ~Nelle~ Up-Date

Nelle is absolutely wonderful. We simply adore her and the feeling

mutual! She is about 7 pounds and has endless energy . Everyone that
meets her immediately loves her. She is up to date on all shots and is
scheduled for her "surgery" in the beginning of October. She had her
first haircut last weekend and I will take some new photos to send you.

Schnoodles really are a wonderful breed and you are enriching many
families with the puppies you are providing for adoption. Thank you for

all you did for Nelle in the first weeks of her life. The care she
received from you surely helped to mold her disposition which is purely

Dear Donna,

Well, I just went to my spam file to review & delete, and I found this wonderful e-mail from you re: hurricane advice! On occasion, aol dumps some mail in there that should not be there - so sorry. I certainly appreciate the information - it never would have occurred to me to have his papers with me. It is very unlikely that I would leave my house: I have shutters for the windows, the house is elevated 10 feet, and the upstairs is 20 feet up. I have a small generator, food, water, battery lamps, tv & fans, first aid kit, etc. And if all else fails, I have another house that is inland and not in a flood zone. Again, thank you for being so thoughtful.The new sod on the side of the house finally took root so I could have it sprayed for whatever "varmints" might have come with it. Yesterday was Casey's first day out, and he had a ball! I got a doggie treadmill for him for the days we have inclement weather - he loves his exercise!!! Prior to the new sod being laid, he had to settle for fetching and running in the main hall, which is quite long, but tiled.Well, Casey is up to 10.2 lbs. Next week he gets his rabies shot (I did not want it given with the routine puppy shots), and 2-3 weeks later he will get neutered. He is still as adorable and loving as ever. And, he has no problem jumping up on the window seat next to my computers to bark and let me know he wants attention!! How many babies do you have at home now? I hope you are getting some rest - as I have said to you before, I do not know how you manage!! I am attaching a picture of Casey with his nanny, Alma. "Heart Breaking" Up-date about ~Bridget Gabriel~

Dear Donna,
After sending you that last email (see post below), I am so very sorry to have to send you this one.My dear Bridget got hit by a car last Wednesday night and died.My heart is broken. I loved her so much I can't explain.I had taken her to my neighbors across the street for dinner and it was late, maybe 9pm and dark out. We were talking on the front lawn and Bridget was playing with my cat Puddin. They were great friends. Puddin ran across the street and Bridget chased her, then Bridget ran back across the street to me. It happened so fast. It is not a busy street especially at night, otherwise I would never have let her be off the leash.She did not suffer. She got hurt badly and was crying and biting down. I put my hand in her mouth to let her bite down on me. I held her until she died which was only moments and I thank God she didn't suffer long. My neighbor and I built a very nice casket the next morning and we buried her in my garden. Friends and family have been coming these past few days and everyone is hurting.Bridget filled a giant void in my life personally. She was my best friend. We spent this past summer together and did everything together. She was with me 24/7. I love her with all my heart and I miss her in a way I can't explainI am very sorry for letting this happen to this wonderful dog. I hope you forgive me

I just have tears running down my face after reading your e-mail, I know Pat how much you LOVED this girl....... and how much you leaned on her during the rough times with your mom's health. Hi Donna,

Just wanted to give you an update and a picture of our Bridget.Bridget now has a friend, a blind, deaf poodle named Patrick who came to us from a rescue situation.Bridget has found her courage and has decided she is the dominant dog in this house. Believe it or not, she barks at anyone and everyone she thinks doesn't belong near our house. She sounds very ferocious. But really she is a love.My mom lives with me now and takes care of Bridget and Patrick while I work. Her health is going downhill and I know when to call 911 when Bridget won't leave her side. She even jumped onto the stretcher to go with Mom. She is the best dog and is my best little friend.I've attached a picture of Bridget and Patrick. Thanks so much for a wonderful dog and my best friend.

It is a "Schnoodle Pocket Book". Casey's mom Patty sent it to us - We LOVE it : )

The pictures I took of it just don't do it justice - It is just too adorable.

Dear Donna,

He is a wonderful puppy, and I cannot tell you how much I love him. His personality is really coming to the fore, and it is delightful!! He is happy (I think!), full of energy and really is not spoiled (too much) despite his having a nanny. He actually likes being brushed and riding in the stroller (will not put him on the floor at the vet's office-even took his pup-head with us!). When his shots are done, we will start outside - I am having the side and back yard redone for him. There are cedar chips, and leaves, etc. and he puts everything in his mouth!! All the trees and shrubs are coming out and being replaced with grass.Casey takes his healthy edibles bones the moment he gets them and "hides" them - of course half of them are in my bed! It is so funny to watch him "bury" them - gee, you'd think we starved him and he had to horde his food!! I have him on Life's Abundance food - he loves it. And me? - I am practicing being the pack leader - the Big Alpha!! Not really me - but I know it is better for Casey.I'm sending some pictures - the woman with the stethescope is Casey's vet, Dr. Jennifer Kern. He weighs 8.6 lbs now!! I tease Casey and call him "poodle face" (takes after his Dad) - hope he has the poodle brain!!! Considering how quickly he learns, I suspect he does.How are you managing with your pups? I had forgotten how much energy it takes for one - my gosh, I don't know how you do it!! And, I can tell from the way Casey is with people that he got a lot of special TLC from you! If anyone ever needs a reference from you, let me know!!!!! I got the cutest little schnoodle thing for you last week, which I have finally gotten into a box and will mail tomorrow. You probably already have one...I will keep in touch-hope you will, too. Again, I can never thank you enough for enabling me to have this wonderful boy in my life.As always,Patty

Hi Donna,

I took these pictures of my schnoodle Sully (Oct 2006 Lucky/Spencer litter) and my sister's (Jenn Harrison's) schnoodle Gracie (2005 Zoe/Spencer) the last time we had them together. They are inseparable whenever we bring them to visit--they run around and wrestle together and then nap together (as you can see). We think they must know they are half-siblings! Sully has already outgrown Gracie, but she keeps him in his place.
